Why?

 

Why did he come for you and me?

Why did he die upon that cruel tree?

Why did he suffer, and take all that pain?

Why did he let them, what was his gain?

Why did he forgive them all that they done?

Why did he say, he was God's only son?

 

He came for us all, that truly believe,

He came for us all, that we may receive.

Eternal life from our Father above,

A home in heaven surrounded by love.

Our Lord Jesus Christ died for us all,

So do not ignore, when you hear his call.
